Date: 2009-07-17 12:49 am (UTC)Understand that I've only read maybe three Star Trek books in my life. However, I adore Hellspark and I also adored Janet, so I was willing to give Uhura's Song a try. I liked it; I will probably not re-read it every nine-months-or-year like I do, say, The War for the Oaks, or, indeed, Hellspark, but it was perfectly fine as a story. I'm sorry, in a way that Janet didn't get to write another one with her trickster character, but, then, I'm sorry that Janet didn't write more in general. . .
