Hang in there. There are others suffering with you! I have 4 more days of Christmas-crazed 5 year olds. I have an idea that academicians are more difficult to work with, though!

It's somewhat more difficult to tell them to take a timeout or send them outside to play. Not impossible ("Hey, I heard that there's a book sale" or rumors of free food are good distractions), but more difficult.

Hang in there, maybe this will help.
My wife suffered 2nd degree / full thickness burns and is currently in hospital waiting grafts she said today

"The stories are keeping me sane"

She was talking about YOUR works Fledgling in particular.

So keep it up and know while your works are making you a small
income, your hard effort is making a BIG difference for others.
