Could somebody with time on their hands and a copy of I Dare close by compile a list of the Bosses of Surebleak, the territory each controls (if known), and their estate (quick/dead)?

Wow, that's a lot.

First one in with a complete list gets a paper arc of Mouse and Dragon, if and when.

Moran - from Blair to Canary Replaced by Boss Conrad
Deacon - Border's Pat Rin's Turf annexed by Boss Conrad
Penn Kalhoon - Hamilton Street
Ivernet - North of Kalhoon (along port road)

Melina Sherton - bordering on the country

I will not swear this is a complete list. I also didn't see names for some of the territories.

Boss Jonni Conrad took over from Boss Nort Moran.

(predecessors: Tourin, Randall, Vindal (female), Henrick, all dead).

Tourin's turf was made from parts of Henrick and Tiede.

At some point, Natesa mentions an afternoon meeting in Elva Whitmore's territory.

Minor correction - Boss Nort Moran's territory runs from Blair to Carney (not Canary)
and amplification - Deacon was killed in the annexation of his turf (along with, unusually, most of his staff)

Concur with Melita on most, with following addendum or corrections:

Blair to Carney turf created from parts of Tiede's and Hendrick's turfs for Boss Tourin during meeting btwn Tiede & Hendrick. Successors in order - Randall, Vindal, Moran, then Conrad.

Deacon is deceased, his turf (away from Port & Port Road) was annexed into Conrad's turf.

Hamilton St turf (Penn Kalhoun) also straddles Port Road. Was Latimer's when Miri joined the merc's, and Peterson's when Angela Lizardi left to become a merc.

Ivernet's turf (deceased, temp held by Kalhoun's second Marja Fender but may now be annexed into Conrad's turf), north (and towards the Port) of Hamilton St turf. Straddles Port Road.

Melina Sherton's turf is not "country", but is just in from the "country", and was obtained by Melina to create a buffer zone between Surebleak city and the "country". Covers "country" end of Port Road.

Whitman's turf (east of Hamilton St.) Adjoins Port Road "outward" from Kalhoun's turf.

Ira Gabriel's turf is 2nd in from "country" holdings. Contains Port Road.

Vine's turf is directly outside Port main gate. Beginning of Port Road.

Elva Whitmore (undescribed turf). could be misspelling of Whitman.

Abram (ref only) had infirmary when Latimer held Hamilton St.

Total number of Bosses was never not given, just that the number can vary, and at least 20 attended Conrad's first party. At least 5 other bosses attended Audrey's party in Lord of the Dance, although only Penn was named.
