Snowy Saturday

Not. Though I did see about fourteen snowflakes go by the window. The weather ghods haven't got their winter eyes yet, I guess.

I finished putting the garden to sleep, to the best of my ability, which is, let us say, not considerable, but 'twill do. Spent the rest of my day re-reading notes and embroidering, between glaring out the window. We now have two completely embroidered linen napkins! Egad, such treasure; I'm quite giddy. And there are still two more to be done, to keep the fingers supple.

I've managed to noodle out a good many details of how this next bit works, embroidery being good for your thinkum as well as your fine dexterity. She said hopefully.

I don't think we got that many, or at least they snuck past while I wasn't looking. However, Milady Wife reported a dusting at the nature center, which is six miles away as the Subaru flies, and she also reported actual physical snow on cars coming up from Ellsworth. So I guess the phenomena were real.

'Tis cold rain in Texas, and time to see what the projections are for OK, because I'm heading that way Thursday....
