Today, I have laundry, and going back two chapters to put in the set-up for the action in this chapter, and a headache.

It would be nice to lose the headache.

Also! Today's mail brought the extended battery for The Leewit, who is even now powering up and looking annoyingly smug.

Woo. I'm a pretty old person. Even for Gus and I to participate in your journal I had to sign on to the the Live Journal thing. Not too easy. Tonight's entry really did it. Some people do crossword puzzles to improve their brains. I read your journal. Ok. The Leewit I had heard of before because I think one of your cats was lying near it. Found out ---I think --- it's the name of a laptop/notebook thingie which runs on a battery. But looking back in 2008 or so your commenters said that you needed a UBS card reader to read the data off its memory card. Your readers are incredible techies. I had to look up each and every little thing on Google to try and understand even 5% of what you all were talking about. Also the charater of Leewit it appears is from a book caled The Witches of Karres. Looks like a lot of fun. I've now ordered it from one of those handy dandy used book sellers on Amazon. Just happened to click on the next entry after that one about the Leewit and found one about a friend of yours, Janet Kagen, who had very unfortunately passed away: the author of Hellspark. Which I've also ordered. Me not a techie was originally supposed to be a perfesser. Ran away from Academe. But it appears still know how to do my homework! Hope my brain has been suitably worked over for tonight. Also please forgive any spelling errors. I could never spell and I think this journal thingie doesn't have a spell check. Also typos. Gus is snoring away in his bodyguard position over there near me on the floor. No homework for him. I hope your headache has already gone away.

In order to post a comment I often have to look at an ad. Tonight's not too bad. One of those Ally Bank ads with the kids and the nasty bank men ---from those other nasty banks that aren't Ally.
