Galactic Geography for Five Hundred

Who can find the location of Surebleak? I'm looking for a system designation, sector name, street address -- whatever.

First one to find it receives the Public Gratitude of an, err, Grateful Author.

According to "Moon on the Hills" in "Halfling Moon", the (local) name of the double star of the Surebleak system is Chuck-Honey, and a note that Pat Rin received from Liad was "surely not more than a day or two out of Solcintra Port"

Philip, from Auckland

P.S. Are you aware of this site http://www.wethreethieves.com/albums/media/books/s/sharon_lee_and_steve_miller/ , which I came across while searching for the phrase "pilot-friendly Surebleak Port"? It appears to have full text copies of all of the pre-Theo Liaden novels, plus the unibuses.

Are you aware of this site

*sigh* No, I wasn't aware; thank you for pointing it out.

My spoons being in low supply today, not to mention already spoken for, off it goes to Baen.

The entire site...

The entire site is a rats nest of copyrighted stuff. Alls orts of scifi and other, and that's only under books.

I. Wow. That just seriously offends me.

I sicc'ed Scholastic on 'em. (They've got all of the Harry Potter books.) Rowling is Not Amused by this kind of shenanigans, any more than you or Sharon is.
