I would say your personal honor is unsullied For example, in the movie Serenity - the Operative serves the Alliance (which was responsible for wiping out a planet), honorably even to the point of murdering a lot of people that merely knew the heroes - however his personal honor was unsullied. At the same time, when the person starts committing those types of acts, it often becomes very difficult for others to see that person as honorable - especially if they lack context.
