For those who have not seen it elsewhere, Parris McBride has, after 31 years, made an honest man of George RR Martin. This comes on the heels of news that Ru Emerson and Doug have wed, after a 34-year courtship.

When my brother and SIL announced plans to wed, after 11 years, my uncle, with a droll little smile, said, "Now, Crispin, don't be hasty!"

But these folks are downright DELIBERATE. Almost on a seemly Clutch Turtle timescale.
