Scavanger Hunt

Somewhere -- and I think it's a chapter head, which may narrow things down -- there is a quotation from a beam message to the Delm of Korval saying something along the order of, "Left my ring at X in exchange to repairs. Send one of ours to redeem it. Send two."

First one to find that quote wins the gratitude of an author!

Not fair posting these while I'm at work! It's from Cantra, and it's a chapter heading quote, and I think it is in Scout's Progress... but I can't check from here!

X is Tinsori Light, do you need the entire quote or will that do?

Entire quote
Emergency repairs at Tinsori Light. Left my ring in earnest. The keeper's a cantra-grubbing pirate, but the ship should hold air to Lytaxin. Send one of ours and eight cantra to redeem my pledge. Send them armed. In fact send two...

now you know the answer, I suggest you try your Nook's Search.
my Kindle has all Liaden published works loaded and easily found "ring repair" in two places SP. If you haven't got everything, try a search only of SP to confirm that Search can find "words in same paragraph"

Not only that, It induces your loyal readership to re-re-read the chapter for context.

Well done. Again the benefits of having all the books lined up on a shelf. The shelf search is just as good I'd imagine as the Nook search especially if one doesn't own a Nook.

Hope the answer helps with whatever you are doing.
