So! Endeavors of Will and TimeRags II have been uploaded to the Smashfolk.  The score at halftime there being:  8 books in the premium catalog; 17 awaiting Judgement.  In the meantime, the only — did I say ONLY? — book yet to be uploaded is. . .The Tomorrow Log.  Which is going to have to wait a couple days.

The day-job was somewhat horrid today; tomorrow, I have an “exit interview,” whatever that is. One would suppose an exit interview would happen. . .closer to the actual exit, but — apparently not.

In the meantime, and looking ahead, Steve has located my vehicle for me.  On sale, too!

And with that, I’m outta here.  Remember!  This weekend!  in Portland, Maine!  PortConMaine!  Be there, or be Totally UnCool.

Vehicle suggestion

Although it's certainly a decision you make for yourself, if you want a 3 wheeler, I would suggest the one with two wheels in front. They're somewhat more stable than the traditional trike configureation due to quirks that can happen during steering around curves. Two wheel vehicles have radically different physics than vehicles that steer with a pair of wheels in front. This is why we don't see three wheel ATVs much anymore as trikes can switch modes if you enter a curve a little too fast. OTOH, if you just think the trike scooter is cool, and knowing how much engine the scooters have, if it really interests you then you won't pay any attention to me anyway.

Exut Interview

That exit interview better include the gift of a gold watch. Heck, three gold watches. You earned them for sure. The whole college admin might collapse without you. You might see a column of smoke rising from the campus sometime after your exit. Better call the fire dept. and emergency services ahead of time.

Ah, but here in Maine billboards are outlawed. Now, the legislature is trying to reverse this 30 year trend, but people are not thrilled about that.

I've been reading reports based on exit interviews of Canadian Members of Parliament (http://www.samaracanada.com/Report3_context). It's interesting to see what they think of the political system, how they came to power, what they think could improve things, and just how different they come across in these interviews from the stereotypes and soundbytes in the media.

As one who rides a two wheeled version, let me just sum it up in Eleven words: You live in Main, think, Rain, Snow, Cold weather, Slick Roads.

I know nothing about mopeds, scooters, bikes, etc. However, a quick Google indicates scads of irate customers who feel they have been scammed, lied to, ignored, insulted, and generally abused by the makers of the (extremely cool) scooter you showed. Getting a legal title that the DMV would recognized seems to be a common problem. You might want to check around before purchasing.

... that would be the CanAm Spyder Roadster but at a starting price of around $17000 it's a bit much for an economy scooter. And the biggest issue with ATV trikes isn't the single wheel steering design it's the extremely short wheelbase and tight turning arc coupled with excessive power that made those things history ... with something like this that would be much less of a problem. 30+ years of M/C experience talking here... as long as you don't try to stop suddenly in the middle of a fast sharp turn something that long wouldn't have any issues ...
