thanks for sending me all that info. I'll just buy a Kindle..I'm planning to buy the very cheapo -est kind where you get ads on it. It may even go on sale. I'll get an extended warrenty for the thing from Best Buy so that if it goes funny they have to fix it or give me a new one. The screen on a Kindle isn't back lit. The back lit thing is supposed to be bad for the eyes. It's just the easiest way for me. At least I'm inching towards actually owning an e reader.
