Sunday Morning, Minus Two
Sunday, January 23rd, 2005 10:43 am...snowing and blowing like a sonofagun. Lost the nearest neighbor's house a couple times during breakfast. I can't hazard a guess of how much snow fell overnight, there's so much wind going on; nor is it precisely clear how much of the snow in the air is snowfall as opposed to wind-whip.
Pretty, though.
Called the parental units, down there to the south. Both sets report the snow has stopped; my father complained of the cold -- 11F/-11C -- and was enjoying his fourth cup of coffee while he waited for my step-mother's grandson to come down from Hampstead and dig them out.
Me, I'm going to curl up on the couch with Sabu and Mozart (already at his station on the pillow), tuck the african 'round my feet, and get some writing done.
