Saltation, chapter 26, e-copy. His appearance begins with: Tucked behind the tree in a very hard-to-see nest was a nearly colorless norbear, with wizened visage and slitted sleepy eyes. His appearance runs for a while in that chapter, in which he serves as a character reference for Theo.
Chapter 27, e-copy. There was a snort, and Theo felt a tug at her knee - not a muscle strain or knee injury, but Hevelin, politely tapping, and pressing with his gripping paw. He's present and is referred to off and on until 'This pleased her as much as him.'
Those sections are it for Saltation, as far as I can see.
Dragon Ship, chapter 21, e-copy. His appearance begins with Peltzer's nap was taking place in his usual working chair - an actual acceleration couch upright in front of his control-board-like desk, as if he were still actively flying - and he slept with no snore, nor tremor, the old norbear, Hevelin, napping companionably against his leg.
Chapter 22. His appearance begins with The norbear was burbling up a storm, and Waitley was coming back at him.
Chapter 24. His appearance begins with Before she achieved the sanctum - in fact, just as she was passing the patch of verdant greenery that had in the past been a norbear residence - there came a sudden furry brown and orange streak-and-squeak from inside the minijungle, and a simultaneous apparition of knee-high rusty grey norbear royalty from within Peltzer's offices - Podesta and her grandsire, Hevelin.
Chapter 25. I'm sorry, gentles, talking about security, I'll need to take it, with Mr. Slayn and Hevelin authorized to stay.
Hevelin actually *appears* in chapter 25 with The reception area was a little larger than the inner office, but it was full to capacity with bodies - full over capacity, because Hevelin had trooped out with the rest of them, sticking so close to Theo that she all but had to sit on the reception desk to avoid stepping on him.
Chapter 28. They - or, more accurately, Guild Master Peltzer - had brought with them two...pets, and their environment.
