rolanniStill not up to speed -- which wasn't helped by the fact that I had to go back and read Big Chunks of what went before to refresh my memory. Sword of Orion kept trying to influence the story, and we cannot, no really, have that.
So, when the dust clears we have:

Notes: Gah. I know what has to happen, but the characters' voices were all over the map today. I hate that. Ah, well. There is no scene so bad that it cannot be revised into something worthwhile. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
