Photo Essay: The Coat

Advertent readers of this forum will recall that, on February 21, I purchased an Article of Clothing, specifically the Lady K'abel Coat, from J. Peterman.

The Article of Clothing arrived today, and, true to Internet Tradition, Pictures have been taken.

Here we have the stage before the model arrives.  Princess Jasmine Sprite, Roadie of the Night, holds the area against interlopers:

It is beautiful. How warm is it?

Coming from Maine, as I do, I'm not calling this a "warm" coat. It's about the warmth you'd get from a suit jacket, though obviously longer. The intended use of this coat is as con-clothes. About. . .six? seven? years ago, I bought a similar garment, sleeveless from Marketplace Handwork of India (http://www.marketplaceindia.com/). That garment is reversible and has pockets, and I've worn it so much (it didn't just remain "con-clothes") that it's starting to get a little shabby.

Snazzy! Depending on where the con happens to be, you could wear it with a sleeved or sleeveless blouse or turtleneck, or such like. . Envious WOL is envious of your fine looking K'abel Coat.
