Many of the medications for mood disorders suppress dreaming. One time when I was being taken off of one I made up for several years of missed dreams all at once due to the rebound effect!
Do you ever have those dreams that are so vivid that you aren't sure whether they happened or not? You remain angry at someone for something they did or said in the dream? You wonder why the garbage is still in the kitchen when you are CERTAIN you carried it out while you were talking to Teddy Roosevelt?
When I pictured you and the cats arranged for sleep, I had to regroup and add Rick Moranis with his machine from 'Honey, I Blew Up the Kid' (or in this case, cat). My Aska grows from ten pounds to cougar-sized when the lights go out. I can't imagined what a houseful of Maine Coon Cats grows to. I hope you have a California King.
