On the Overnight
Monday, March 14th, 2005 12:18 pmAs in Overnight Express, the trucking company in whose tender care the copies of Crystal Soldier are held. We're still working on the theory that they will be here today between 2 and 6 p.m. It is as I write a beautiful bright sunny day, with the temperature in the mid-40s F. The driveway we will need to traverse in order to bring the books from the truck to the deck is already a sticky, half-iced quagmire. Yum.
On the Crystal Dragon front, I realized over breakfast that I had forgotten to answer a particularly obvious question down there in the guts of what's already been written, so I'll be doing a little work behind the nose -- ahem. Rewriting and reweaving of the relevant bits of detail. I think there's only two places that need to be reworked in order to make all goomeky. She said optimistically.
Also realized over breakfast (note to self: no more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for breakfast) that I can save myself a whole sequence of boring protocol stuff. All I have to do (hah) is rephrase of a couple of paragraphs in the scenes I wrote over the weekend.
