continued.... L.L.Bean carries the Dakota line - perhaps they do repair? There is a spiffy model with tiny pen knife & scissors. The only one I find, with a cover is a golf bag item.
On Amazon - search for Pocket Watch - comes up with lots of covered watches. I bet you could put one on a carabiner clip (standard purchase at Amazon or camping shops) You might need a key-ring or Large Jewery ring to attach - so watch diameters.
