OK, there are tiers. No one has yet chosen Kate, and I'm going to declare her ineligible, although clearly I have enjoyed spending 3 books with her. :-)
Peggy - someone already mentioned why. Mr. Ignat - a charming and talented! gentleman. :-) Gaby - love to see her pop in; always glad to see the Heeterskyte, too! Felsic came in very quietly, but grew on me as she did on Kate. Not quite as she did on Peggy . . . And the Land! For something that doesn't say anything, the Land has a lot of personality! :-)
I probably better stop now before I wind up listing everyone . . .
