There's a formula for calculating the 'adored by number,' which includes the number of copies of your best sold book, adding a percentage for people who bought their copy used but still adore you, and subtracting a percentage for people like me who adore you so much they have bought the hardcover, the eBook, and several paperback copies as the originals disappeared into the woodwork or they just needed something to eat a solitary dinner over while traveling.
