I'm am really hoping that you can convince Madam-the-editor, that this could be a "real" book. "Shan & Priscilla Ride Again" is a good working title. (and now I know how to pronounce Shan).

Maybe if you sell it as "Gordie becomes Gordon"? The book becomes a coming of age story, if you change the viewpoint to Gordie, but it would be a good book to read.

Of course in chapters 6 through whatever, we might discover more about those missing years between Priscilla's first voyage & those years before she becomes Captain.
