So, today! the featured Boskone mini-interviews are from Sharon Lee and Steve Miller.  Here's the link.  I should mention here that our interviews of part of an ongoing series, and if you haven't been following it, you should definitely take the opportunity to start following them now.  I've been having a lot of fun with them.

Also! If you're planning to attend Boskone, remember that rates  go up on January 20, so you want to buy that membership now!

Well. . . I suppose it's not too soon, really.

Watch the Skies

. . .we'll have a little something set out for you guys on Welcome to Liad, right around  December 24.

Also!  If you've been waiting for the third book in Alma Alexander's Were Chronicles -- and I know you have -- it's now up for preorder.  I think you all know what to do.

Today is Terrorize the Cats Day, as I intend to unleash the Cat Eating Machine.  The rest of the day will be devoted to The Gathering Edge.

Tomorrow is going to be a day off, very likely our last day off until we turn in the manuscript and head off to Boskone, early next year.

Hope everyone's having a good day, surrounded by pleasant people.

Really, really looks scared of the cat eating machine.

Mine hide under the bed. Not a good choice, but, hey, they're cats and no one but them think they're smart.

Liked the link but not in e-book yet.

I once had a cat who not only wasn't scared of the vacuum, he liked being vacuumed ---- with the little crevice-attachment bits, or just the hose. He'd roll over and stretch out so you could get his whole tummy ...
And if you neglected to vacuum him, he's chase after you and sit in front of the machine until you got him!

Blizzard Pool?

Is there a Blizzard Pool? How do I get in on this? Inches of Snow, Days when the Transport won't run, Extra days needed for the Hotel?

Usually, I drive into one of the T-stations and park. The easiest, and cheapest, is an open parking lot at RiverSide. If I'm thinking snow, I park at the indoor garage at Alewife station, even though there is a longer drive, are more train transfers, and stairs to climb with my suitcase.

Last year, I also needed two extra nights, before and after, the major blizzard.
Two years back, it only snowed 3 inches
Three years back, I parked at Alewife, and don't remember any new snow.
Several years, parking at RiverSide has been fine, one year I had to shovel myself out of 6 or so inches.

This year..... I'm ready to put my $$ into the pool. Who should I contact?
