Crystal Dragon is printing out as I type. Sometime in the next hour, it will be priority mailed to Madame the Agent (insert the wild cheering of millions here).
Why is that authors always seem to feel so liberated when they mail stuff off?
Because authors are Really Good at deluding themselves, and as soon as they mail the book off, they think things like, "Well, that's over and done with!" -- and believe them. Authors are also capable of believing that the next book will be easy. Strange creatures, authors. But you knew that.
It is, it is. I feel like a ton of bricks has fallen off my shoulders (well, OK -- like a 7-pound-plus whack of paper has fallen off my shoulders). I'm so light, I might float away. And this after the milkshake *g*
