Quick auctorial update.

1. I've been ill, and have lost, all told, four days of work.  I am not happy about this, but I'd be less happy if I'd pretended I wasn't sick, continued to work, broke the story, and had to go back and fix things.  It's just not true, that there's never time to do it right, but always time to do it over.  Doing it over is a GINORMOUS pain in the hat.  And not just because you have the Ghosts of Error floating about the new words and scenes, wailing for their lost glory.


2. I am, today, less ill, and more importantly in possession of a functioning brain.  I am therefore making a run at the corrections/clarifications/expansions/whatnot in the manuscript as it now stands.


3. Steve and I will be at the Rhode Island Comic Con, November 11 – 13, Rhode Island Convention Center, Providence, RI.


4. And that's all the news I can think of at the moment.  Buy our books, review our books, recommend our books, and!  Thank you for all you do.

So sorry to hear you've been ill! At least Trooper is on the job, making sure you get proper rest.

There was a lovely comment about the Liaden universe on Facebook's Georgette Heyer Appreciation Group page just yesterday, and you may shortly be seeing an uptick in your sales because of it. Several commenters seemed quite interested.
