Who said life in the country was tame?

Today was a whirlwind of activity in which Mozart got shaved -- he now feels softer than the softest in-house plushie (reminding me that I have Plushie Pictures; all I have to do is get them uploaded), though he's seeking out the warmer good spots in the house. I've draped blankets and towels in strategic places. During the Process -- and it was a Process -- he purred. This is a cat who goes ballistic at the mere mention of a cat brush/comb, but bring on big, noisy electric clippers -- and he purrs. Go figure.

After the groomer, we had the boy who needed a car, with cash in hand, bless him. We exchanged the cash for keys, did the title-and-bill-of-sale things, and he drove the Buick happily away. We are now a one-car family. This may work.

I am also pleased to announce that the filing is current and that large swaths of my work table are not only visible, but actually large enough to be, um, worked upon.

Tomorrow -- the accountant! The thrills never stop...

Mine is a long haired breed called Somalia and she LOVES to be brushed. Hates clippers and getting teeth cleaned. I keep a loop of 550 cord on the brush handle and she'll drag it to me when she wants some love. Kittys are weird.
