Found a occupation and thereby a name for the protagonist of the story I ought not to be writing, the both of which are so Stunningly Perfect that there must be something I'm missing.

I need to do one more bit of research this morning, then I plan on retiring with Sabu (and probably Mozart) to the blue chair to fling words at the screen in earnest.

In other news and in no particular order, the electronic copy of the Crystal Dragon manuscript was delivered unto the publisher yesterday; he has promised to read it before BEA so he can Talk To Us about it there. In-between the raindrops, one assumes, looking at all the stuff he believes we'll be doing at and around BEA for the two days we'll be present. Note to self: take notebook and make Copious Notes, because there's no way in heck you're gonna remember anything by the time you get back to Maine.

The kitchen countertop has reappeared, which is unexpected and delightful; though the Mencken Table remains overfull with books, maps and magazines. My consolation there is that I believe the Table to be neither unfamiliar with nor disapproving of such burdens.

I need a new keyboard, oh, yes, I do...

And, in case I forgot to say: It's raining.
