alfreda89. Apparently, I'm going to be stuck on song titles for awhile.
In any case, we're back from the BEA, which almost scans anyway, dern it. My First Official Act(tm) upon waking this morning was to call the dentist and reveal that the Problem Tooth had decided to show off its 'tude in NYC. One emergency visit later, I have antibiotics to treat a probable abcess and news that the third root in the Tooth From Hell didn't ...ventilate?... correctly when it was roto-rootered a couple weeks ago and may have to be done again. Argh.
I'll be posting a con report in the near future, but for the moment -- we're home, we're tired, we're catching up on email.
kinzel has a sore throat and an incipient con cold, so that his Dental Adventure, previously scheduled for tomorrow, has been put off 'til next week.
We did manage to not acquire five thousand objects and/or books that we didn't really want, simply because they were free. I brought home one book -- a signed copy of Sin City, which was given to us by Dark Horse comics as a peace offering, because Frank Miller's line blocked access to the Meisha Merlin booth for an hour -- and two plushies, a Velveteen Rabbit, of which more later, and an animal which
arcaedia and
suricattus between them decided was the Rare New York Yellow Snow Fox.
