Cast in Moonlight is the prequel novella (although it was written after... the 5th book or so came out, I think, as part of an anthology), the other two are the 1st and 2nd novel. If you haven't bought them yet, I think you'd like them. It is a long series tho, not finished yet, but I don't think that is a problem for you :D
