Pre-orders for the *hardcover edition only* of _Liaden Universe(R) Companion, Volume One_ will close at 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, on Wednesday, August 24, *unless* the remaining 60 copies (out of a print-run of 300) sell out before then.

These 304 page books with a full color astronomical class cover by Thomas Peters is also available in softcover, so if you miss the hardcover in pre-order you can still pre-order a softcover.

The Lee-Miller chapbook _With Stars Underfoot_ ( Adventures in the Liaden Universe® No. 10) is now available as an electronic book from Embiid (http://www.embiid.net), and coming September 1 in the same Windows and Palm formats will be _Quiet Knives_ (Adventures in the Liaden Universe® No. 9).
The electronic edition of _Crystal Dragon_ will be available from Embiid on October 1.
