Why Eagles Over the Kennebec?

rolanniWell, first, because it's a cool title that I'll probably never use. I thought for a while I might use it on a Jen Pierce novel, but -- probably not.
And, second, because I've *seen* eagles over the Kennebec River many more times than a few. It's one of the things that I completely adore about living where we do. Yes, I know they're carrion eaters and all the rest of it. They're still beautiful, incredibly graceful in the air, majestic at perch.
Oh, and third -- I can talk about anything I want to in a journal titled "Eagles over the Kennebec", even if I won't likely talk about eagles very much.
Back from the printer; I've done some house-chores and about 700 words on the Miri story. Mozart is back on my lap, making it Very Easy(tm) to type.
I'm going to send this entry and get back to work.
