I have a Career, yes I do.

Yup.
What was your worst work experience?
Ooh, tough one. Was it the time my boss (who knew very well that I was living withkinzel told me that my job description had been expanded to include going to dinner and "being nice" to the Important Visiting Salesman? Or was it the time my boss ordered me to fudge the departmental bookkeeping in order to cover various expensive /f/r/i/p/p/e/r/i/e/s necessities of yuppie life that he had purchased without obtaining the required approvals, and threatened that I'd never work again if I didn't?

Why did you leave your last job?
My hair was turning gray and my nerves were a mess. Plus? I didn't have any time to write, not to mention talk to my husband, pet my cats, or sleep.

...engaged? No
...married? Yes
...divorced? No
Do you have children? If so how many?
My characters are my children, and they are legion.
Have you ever:
...rented an apartment? But of course
...rented a house? Yes
...Owned your own home? Yes
...was it a house or condo? A raised ranch on 2 acres of land, about three-quarters of it in trees. The rest is rose bushes.
Do you think real estate prices are just obscene?
Well, yes. But that's mostly because I can't afford a house at the ocean.
What is the price of a 3 bedroom house in the town you live in?
For a regular house where Actual People who have Actual Bills and get paid in Actual Money live? Between a hundred-twenty-thousand and two-hundred-thousand.
How do you feel about property taxes?
Necessary evils.
Do you think a 'hot car' is one with great gas mileage?
A "hot car" is one that's been stolen.
Do you own your own car? I live six miles out of town. Of course I own a car.
-Is it new or used? Used. But newer than usual.
-Ever been in a car accident? A rather nasty one, yes. But it was a long time ago.
-Did your insurance premiums going up worry you more than the physical injury? Nothing worried me for awhile. When I got back to worrying, I was furious that the police had towed my car to the impounding yard with a trunk full of groceries.
How old were you when you lost your virginity?

Where did you watch OJ's Bronco car chase?
Didn't.
Where were you when you heard about space shuttle Columbia exploding?
Sadly, I don't remember.
