Sufficient to the day are the victories thereof
Tuesday, January 10th, 2006 07:07 pm...small though they be.
Argent has achieved a new battery, an oil change and an otherwise clean bill of health, so that much of the drive to Albany is under control.
I've (finally!) figured out how to turn the Optra's duplexing unit back on. Easy, once you know which sub-basement to look in for the key. Sheeesh. It'll be sooooo nice to duplex again. In celebration, I'm printing The Book Without A Name, insofar as it actually exists, to bring with me on the trip.
Set up the pre-order database for Calamity's Child (snippets here and here), and balanced many checkbooks, which wasn't nearly as easy as it should have been.
The only writing upon the day was a slight rework of the end of the chapter I wrote yesterday, adding about 300 words. Kate can certainly find new and interesting ways to get into trouble. I'm just sayin'.
I still need to reload the software onto Sabu, because, yep, I forgot to charge him again, poor abused little machine. After that, I may call it a night and try to hit the bed early (no, really, I mean it). I'm feeling kinda cold-and-chillish and hope that I haven't caught whatever it is that's still plaguing Dulsey.
Countdown to COSine: 9 days.
