In Which Rolanni Learns to Walk. Not

I don't really need any more distractions in my life right now. Which is of course why I took up a Residency in Second Life. After much flailing around (instructions? We don' need no steenking instructions!), I managed to decently clothe my avatar and buy a (teensy tiny, itsy bitsy) parcel of land. I now aspire to build a (teensy tiny, itsy bitsy) house on my parcel of land -- or perhaps a gazebo; it seems a temperate region.
Alas, these plans must go on hold while I learn how to navigate. I've run my poor avatar into walls so often that I was inspired to go looking for a CVS, so I could buy the poor thing a virtual bottle of aspirin. Heck if I know how people dance in there, much less do the other um...interesting things... advertised.
What I need is a flying carpet. Or possibly a skateboard.
In other news, refibbing continues on the Book Without A Name, and I'm much happier with the feel. I fear me I'm losing words, but it was ever thus.
Oh. And Dulsey is looking at Scrabble. Ew! Mo-ooomm, make her stop!
