Kitten onna stick
Friday, March 3rd, 2006 03:32 pmBack from the vet's for the second time today. Dulsey broke three bones in her foot. The leg is splinted and wrapped, and she is ensconced, not very happily, in a medium-sized-dog crate on loan from a friend.
The vet suggests we keep her confined for two weeks. The vet does have a sense of humor.

Date: 2006-03-03 01:13 pm (UTC)oooooh! But you reported earlier that she was making attempts at doing just that (well, leaping into the sides of things). This is most disconcerting!

Date: 2006-03-04 10:39 am (UTC)And Dulsey doesn't just languish and cast Pathetic Looks. Dulsey is a firm believer in the axiom, "If the kitten ain't happy, ain't nobody happy."

Date: 2006-03-04 10:41 am (UTC)Actually, she's not. She is Extremely Concerned that there is a cat being confined against her will and made to wear Weird Vet-Smelling Stuff on her leg. Scrabble is a realist; if it happened to Dulsey, it might happen to Other Cats.
I expect a letter from the regional rep, requesting a contract review...
