Sigh. So I did the Angel meme (nicked from [livejournal.com profile] kaygo) and the computer froze before I could post the results, so ya'll are going to just have to take my word for it. I'm a Dark Angel who can only be seen as a reflection, who works undercover, and has 100 percent potential of falling from the Light. Be amazed.

In other news, we're starting the packing ramp-up: Charging cellphones, making sure Sabu has the latest versions of the current projects in his memory, that the various necessary drugs are on our persons, counting out sox, spooking the cats...

I'm unfortunately also at the point where I'd much rather stay home than pack, and looking with ill grace on the concept of traveling. Once I'm on the train, I'll be fine. I like trains. I like cons. Once I'm there. It's the prep thing that upsets me. Mozart is doing his best to convince me to take a nap and forget that silly duffle bag -- many invitations to tickle long, curly white belly fur, and demands that the chin be rubbed. He hasn't jumped in the duffle yet, which is a good sign. I think.

I see there's a way to update my journal via Sabu, if only I download and install a program I don't seem to have. Might be worth doing, just in terms of collecting more procrastination points...

I envy you that train ride. I adore them...my favorites have been up to Portland and across to Chicago via Mpls. and the LA-Boston trip of 2000.

The train trip will be very nice; this will be the first time we've traveled westward in the spring, and the first time we'll actually get to see Salt Lake City. Usually we run through at night going to or from Someplace Else.
