I came back from the mail run -- more Crystal Dragons on their way to their new homes! -- and sat down at the computer to jot down a few notes that had come to me while I cooled my heels for an hour at the post office. Two thousand one hundred twenty-four words later, I'm done the scene and ready to get into an expanded version of the scene I'd written yesterday. It would be nice, she said to no one in particular, if Kate would tell me this stuff before I write a whole chapter partially out of sequence. I'm just sayin'

Having finished my notes, I'll go spell kinzel at the book packing table. I wonder if it's too late for a movie tonight...
