Rescheduled a pickup with DHL that was supposed to have happened yesterday, only They Forgot.

Crossed the border between SL and RL manymany times, each time carrying an itty bitty text file in my pocket. I can now recommence in to making Snippet booklets. Go, me.

Ditzed around with the old HP laptop that kinzel kindly resurrected for my use. Man, I remember a time I thought this machine was svelte.

In an exalted fit of optimism filled out a form requesting information about acquiring space at the proposed Hathaway Creative Center in Beautiful Downtown Waterville.

Tortured Mozart. And Dulsey. I'd've done Scrabble, too, but I couldn't find her. Calicos Know These Things.

Did the dishes and various mundane chores.

Considered how much more evening sun we're going to have blaring in our front windows this summer, now that our neighbor has thinned his wood lot. We're going to living in the Land of the Midnight Sun. *sigh* Wish there was a way to store it up in July and August and make withdrawals as needed in December...

The guard looked up. "Here she comes again. What do you suppose she's doing?"
The other guard glanced over, then smiled. "Oh, I'll bet she's text smuggling. See how her pockets bulge?"
The first guard scratched his head. "Should we stop her?"
The other guard shook his head. "Naw. Did you ever try to find itty bitty text files? Those bits get in your fingers, and you can't get 'em out for days. Just let her go, she's only going to make a Snippet book."

Logging out fixed my earlier problem. I landed in someone's garden, it's rather pretty here. :)
I found out that if you change you draw distance to 64m it speeds the game way up! Lag really clears up.

Yeah, I found out fast that Seeing to the Ends of SL was a real good way to lock my machine every three minutes....
