Date: 2006-04-30 11:05 am (UTC)The saddest part of this to me, is that in our zeal to protect ourselves and our freedom from terrorism, we have given our freedom away. They won, and we did it to ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I don't want there to ever be another 9/11. But I am not willing to live in a police state to ensure that. Nor do I think we need to. Canada is starting to look very good, despite the cold.
