WASHINGTON (AP) - The FBI secretly sought information last year on 3,501 U.S. citizens and legal residents from their banks and credit card, telephone and Internet companies without a court's approval, the Justice Department said Friday.

Moving to Canada/Life in America

My Mom and I have joked about moving to Canada. Unfortunately, I don't think Canada is far enough away from President Bush's America. Of course, I don't suppose there's anywhere in the world you can go to actually get away the influence of him and his rubber stamping puppets. I think that man plans invasions as a hobby.

The Courts and our elected officials are handing him power hand over fist, and he's busy reshaping the country into his personal vision of perfection. Time was you could separate yourself from the country's politics and still be proud as an American. I don't feel that's true any more. George Bush and the Republicans are taking this country places that should only exist in our nightmares. I think it's going to get worse, much worse before it gets better. If it ever does... Shawna
