I'm reading Gunshy prior to leaping into the revisions/expansion, which is pretty much what I'll be doing for the rest of the day. Tomorrow should see me down in the guts of the thing, wrench, hammer, and tomahawk to hand.

In the meantime, a couple of pointers to Fun Things to do.

First: If you consider yourself a member of the Friends of Liad, a fan of the Liaden Universe(R) or other work by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller, or a Fellow Traveler, please feel free to make yourself a pushpin on this Frappr Map.

Second: The Science Fiction Rangers and the Friends of Liad groups in Second Life have announced an in-world science fiction photography contest in celebration of Second Life's Third Birthday. This contest will showcase the width, breadth, and depth of innovation in images that are possible using Second Life.

Artwork will be on display at a gallery showing on June 22nd, and will continue being shown throughout the week to honor the Birthday Celebration.

The "Fan Favorite" will be chosen through a vote throughout the gallery showing, culminating in the Awards Ceremony on the 25th.

The contest is sponsored by both the Science Fiction Rangers group and the Friends of Liad group and and is being funded through donations. Those who donate will be honored at the gallery opening.
