Fans of Dulsey Take Note

It is with profound regret and great sadness that Management announces Dulsey's departure from her position as Youngest at the Cat Farm and Confusion Factory. She will be returning to Pittsburgh by way of Springfield and Ithaca, beginning her journey on Wednesday, June 21.

Management wishes to be clear that this departure reflects only upon itself and its inability, despite best efforts, to provide Dulsey with a stable environment in which to thrive. Dulsey has pursued the duties and responsibilities of Youngest with energy, humor and verve. We have not the least complaint regarding her job performance; we wish her very well in her future endeavors; and are desperately sorry in our failure.

Wow. I'm so sorry. I know that management tried all they could do to maintain Dulsey in a proper working environment and to support her employment, but sometimes it just isn't destined. My best wishes to her in her travels and future endeavors and my deepest condolences to the management.

I'm sorry this hasn't worked out -- I remember the leap from the top of the bookcase going wrong. Apparently that's not all? She was darling.

I, of course, have had three cats living separate lives for three years, so I can have no opinion on this.
