The Garden of the Gods
Thursday, January 19th, 2006 07:48 pm...is quite something. As is the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. (I fed giraffes. Pictures at eleven.) I'm having lots of fun and the con hasn't even started yet.
Tomorrow, we decamp to the Convention Hotel, where Good Times Will Be Had. Today and into tonight, it's snowing -- a projected four to six inches before it gives over. At home in bucolic Central Maine, our house-n-cat sitter allows us to know that a wind storm has knocked out the power. Said wind storm followed by forty degree temps and rain. Gah.
Everybody stay safe. And warm.
