I'm taking a short break from writing and other chores.  Still have some stuff to do for the first chapter of Saltation, coming soon to a website near you!  And, of course, Longeye.  Also, I'm pretty sure there's some bills around here that need paying.  And I haven't even started pulling the 2007 tax stuff together.  Sigh.  I need a secretary.  Or at least I need the person who writes my books for me to get the lead out.

Full day

Did a pass through Saltation Chapter One, sent it back to Steve, got it back again; made a stab at reading same. Comedy of errors, there, what with new equipment to learn, but we shall see. Wrote some copy for the Saltation opening screen, sent it on to Steve. More on that tomorrow.

Still haven't looked at the 2007 taxes, but I did locate and pay those bills. Also? Scrubbled cat belly as available, but did not play flying mouse, despite many demands and blandishments. I am a Bad Cat Mom, and my poor, ignored, and abused cat is now asleep in the warmest spot in my office, next to the file cabinet, with his tail against the baseboard heater. That'll larn me, yessir.

Oh. I worked on Longeye, too. Go, me.
