rolanni: (Flying Monkey!)
...I guess one of us will take this poor man up on his offer. But it's not going to be me.

Hi

My name is David Williams, a website developer from Queensland, Australia. I am writing to let you know that I am currently offering the domain name SharonLee.net for purchase.

I would be willing to offer you SharonLee.net below market value at the rate of only $390 US. This domain could be used for email purposes, to redirect to your current website or even to track specific marketing campaigns. It could also be extremely helpful in building search engine rankings for this specific keyword. This would be a powerful marketing tool while also creating valuable type-in traffic to your existing website.

If you would like to purchase this domain name or have any questions please reply to this message as soon as possible to avoid losing this rare opportunity to a competitor. I do not expect this domain to be offered for sale again.

Thanks for taking the time to read this message and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Your sincerely
David Williams

Yesterday was a day of parts.

There was the almost-getting-smashed-up part, of which the less said the better.

There was the delivery of 1543.96 lbs worth of Fledgling to SRM Publisher's Galactic Headquarters in the bustling metropolis of Waterville, Maine. Steve single-mandedly got the cartons under roof. We're still waiting for delivery of certain mailing supplies, and of course, the books need to be signed, first; also, we're taking this evening off to go out to dinner to celebrate my birthday, so don't get excited and think your signed Fledgling will be in the mailbox on Monday. We're just keeping everybody on the same page. We'll tell you when we start mailing.

In the spirit of sharing information -- there are still slightly more than one hundred people whose delivery addresses remain unconfirmed. There's a list here. Please check the list. If your name is on it, please follow the instructions at the top of the list. Some of the people on the list did not provide an email address. If you know someone who is on the list, drop them a note, or give them a call, why not, and let them know they're among the missing? It'd be neighborly. Please also note that those whose names are on the Lost Souls list will have their books held until we can figure out how best to proceed. That means "bumped to the bitter, bitter end of the mailing project."

Yesterday's parts also included a very nice interview with Ross Rojek of the Sacramento and San Francisco Book Reviews. Sometime a little later this month, the interview will be available as a podcast. As soon as Ross lets us know the podcast is ready, we'll let y'all know. And! There's to be a review of Fledgling in the Science Fiction supplement this month. You guys in the SF/Sacramento area, keep a sharp eye out!

Today...is sunny and cool and autumnish. Just the way I like it!
