rolanni: (i've often seen a cat without a smile)
Thank you for all the birthday wishes! Much appreciated.

Steve and I had a lovely meal at Cacciatore's -- portabello napoleano, mmmm. After, we wandered around TJ Maxx, and I reacquainted myself with the retail environment. Man, there are a lot of Very Strange Things for sale.

After, we came to home chocolate brownies topped with vanilla frozen yogurt and a viewing of "Peggy Sue Got Married," which I had ordered in from Netflix on the assurance that it was a "time travel" movie. Um...yeah. It was enjoyable enough, and the reminders of the things that have occurred in my lifetime made it worth watching.

Today, we slept until Hexapuma arrived in the bedroom to announce that somebody had forgotten to make coffee, and what were we going to do about it? So, Steve made coffee, and we both browsed the comics and the news. Now it's time to get a bowl of Cheerios, since the bananas are finally ripe, and go into town, armed with manymany blue pens and the honor of Sparta to support us.

Or something.
