This morning's mail brings the Court-Approved Update About Google Search Settlement. I note that nowhere has anyone yet challenged Google's Divine Right to bring out-of-print books back into the marketplace. Also, though there is some pretty talk about "rights holders," it doesn't appear that holding the copyright to a work means very much, in terms of actually being able to determine the fate of one's work.
