rolanni: (Sleepy)
[personal profile] rolanni
Today got off to a bang with an early doctor's appointment. After, [personal profile] kinzel and I ran some errands here, there, everywhere, with a pause for dinner at the Red Robin. Salmon burger, yum. 'way too much of it for one meal, of course, so it's looking like salmon burger for lunch, too, in a bit.

Worked on my notes for the first class, if any, and finished up Poison Study. Next book up, Firestorm.

Writing consisted of realizing that I'd started the story in the wrong place (sigh...) and Fixing That. I failed to locate a newer, shorter title in the process, but them's the breaks.

As reported earlier today in [personal profile] kinzel's LJ:

*Partners in Necessity the new edition (in both hardcover and trade), should be hitting the shelves in mid-October. This is the edition that was originally scheduled for June release, but was pushed back.

*We haven't forgotten all you folks who want ebooks. Madame the Agent is on the case. Watch this space for news, as we have it.

*Sharon Lee and Steve Miller are currently planing to be at the following two conventions in 2007: Boskone and NASFiC. More may be added as 2007 gets closer.

*Meisha Merlin, in the person of Stephe Pagel, will be at DeepSouthCon, NASFIC, and DragonCon in 2007.

...and that's all the news that's fit to print.

g'night.

Speaking of Meisha Merlin, I think their table at LAcon at some point had a woman doing belly-dancing in the aisle as an incentive to stop by. What an excellent idea!
