Well, it was sunny...
Tuesday, October 3rd, 2006 02:43 pm...and warm, too. In-between Then and Now, we've lost nine degrees and the sun has gone to sulk behind the clouds.
Anyhow, the walk was pleasant. Lots of darning needles and butterflies taking advantage of the sunshine. I surprised a ruffed grouse in the cat garden. It stared at me with this, "Well, what are you looking at?" attitude, then turned and huffed off toward the back woods.
Those who have been playing along at home will remember that last night I reported what sounded like every cop car in town, and the fire engines, too, roaring past on the road to Albion. This morning, the Sentinel told us they were responding to a barn fire.
kinzel drove past the scene on his way to the post office this morning and took some pictures, which he may be sharing over at his place.
Meatloaf and carrots for dinner, mmmm. And now, back to work.
