OK, this is starting to worry me
Friday, November 3rd, 2006 06:45 pmOver the last couple weeks, LJ has told me, through its nifty new message board feature, whenever anyone has friended me. That's nice, and pleasant, and in general I love this feature.
But. On three separate occasions, people have supposedly friended me who never showed up in my flist. And. The same person has now been reported by LJ to have friended me five times, the latest instance just today -- and has never, not once, turned up in my flist.
Is this happening to anybody else? Is it just annoying or really creepy?

It's for no purpose other than annoying people. If you ban them (http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/ and type "ban_set (username)" without the quotes or the parens) you'll stop getting the notifications when they friend you :)
