For those who have been playing along at home, the Fledgling webpage has undergone a slight update.

Nicely done.

Have you thought about setting up an RSS feed to alert readers when chapters are posted?

Many things have been thought of...

Right now we're slowly migrating Rolanni's home desktop from MSilly to Linux while she's spending much of her time at Cousin LL Bean's place for the Christmas rush... so some of these things will come after the New Year, when we'll both be more able to concentrate.

Ideas and suggestion are welcome -- as much experience as we have on the web, we can't see and know all of it.

I note that folks with specialized experience are welcome to step forward -- I note as well, that's how we arrived at our now "regular" copy editor.... (thanks Elektra!)... and our Tree and Dragon logo (thanks Angie!)

:) Specialized experience is summarized in my LJ profile. I'd be glad to help!

...and I'd be glad of help setting up such an RSS feed. Haven't a clue where to start. I'd love it if you'd drop me a private note. Don't be offended if it takes me a day or two to get back to you -- the schedule, she is insane for the next couple weeks...

Looks nice! The progress bars look good; hope their presence inspires donations.

One thing--if a chapter isn't up yet, you might consider hiding the link for it.

I think this is most excellent and I'm really pleased to see we'll get to 3 chapters without any worry.

I'm wondering - for those of us who would like to get multiple copies when the book is finished (because I know it will be!) ... if we donate multiple $25, do we get multiple copies?

Thanks!
d.

Too cool - up to three chapters already! Life is Sweet. I like the progress bars; it always helps to see our little accomplishments as we get to them.

Did you change the background formatting of the page? I don't remember it being plain black & white. And, the chapter links look a little odd with the double colon in front. Maybe a heading in that box would help, too, for those of us too bleary-eyed to figure out what the numbers are for...

Please put me down as not wanting a free copy of the book even when my donations reach over $25. I'll buy the book. Consider it my small contribution towards your acquisition of Korval Manor in Old Orchard Beach.
